episode 3 — academic and author, Dr Bethan Jones

Dr Bethan Jones is an academic and author of The Truth is Still Out There: Thirty Years of The X-Files (which is brilliant, and available in bookshops now). Bethan does lots of interesting research and scholarship on fan culture, cult television, online fan spaces, and fan fiction. In episode 3 of Hey Danny, It’s Mulder, Bethan talks about the cultural impact of The X-Files, the evolution of the fandom, and some of our favourite Darin Morgan episodes.
